New Project

Having survived the building of our casita, we decided to go forward with construction of a standalone studio in a hundred year old stone and adobe ruin. Incredable process as the stonemasons searched for matching rocks to blend with on site made adobe blocks. Result looked like it must have in the 1890s.

Wish We Were Back in Pozos

We have just completed our semi-annual return to North Carolina from Pozos, this time with two kittens in tow. We are sort of going through withdrawal from not seeing the fog roll across the mountains with the mines appearing ans disappearing. We have completed our casita, with some changes, and are working on Sandra's studio. The craftmanship of the stonemasons is truly exceptional.
